At the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, a remarkable spiritual creation is capturing the attention of thousands of devotees.
In Shiv Nagari, 12 grand Jyotirlingas, crafted from an astounding 7 crore 51 lakh Rudraksha beads, are drawing visitors from all corners. Located in Sector 6, each Jyotirlinga stands 11 feet tall, 9 feet wide, and 7 feet thick, with a garland of Rudraksha beads draped around it. The beads, collected through a journey across 10,000 villages, add a unique and sacred touch to this spiritual attraction.
Speaking to PTI about the Jyotirlingas created under the open sky, Mauni Baba shared, “The aim behind this project is to eradicate terrorism and protect Bangladeshi Hindus. An iron Shivling was constructed, and Rudraksha beads were placed around it.” He further explained, “Many years ago, I made a vow to establish a Jyotirlinga made of Rudraksha. For the past 37 years, I have been crafting and worshipping Shivlings made from Rudraksha. The Jyotirlingas here use white, black, and red Rudraksha, ranging from one Mukhi to 26 Mukhi.”
