Prior to the counting of votes for the Delhi Assembly elections, Delhi Police have increased security precautions at all counting centres, including sufficient manpower deployment and the use of drones. Sanjay Kumar Jain, Joint Commissioner of Police, Southern Range, told the reporters that a four-tier security perimeter had been established at the counting facility. All security measures have been put in place. Polling for the 70-member Assembly was place on February 5, with a total voter turnout of 60.54 percent.
