Chhaava India and worldwide box office collection day 20: Vicky Kaushal-Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Chhaava has become the biggest film of the star career as it has made over Rs 400 crore already domestically. On its 20th day in the theatres, the film made Rs 5.75 crore, as per industry tracker Sacnilk, taking the film nett domestic total to Rs 477.65 crore. The film worldwide gross collection is close to Rs 650 crore in 20 days. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film is inspired by the life of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj with Vicky essaying role and Akshaye Khanna playing Emperor Aurangzeb. On the 20th day, Chhaava saw around 11 percent occupancy in theatres. The Mumbai region had over 1100 shows which observed 15 percent occupancy, and the Delhi-NCR region had over 1200 shows, which observed around 8.5 percent occupancy. Until now, Chhaava has had a strong hold in the western region of the country, primarily Maharashtra, and has seen strong collections from the north as well. The film will be releasing in Telugu on March 7 and it is yet to be seen if it can replicate the same success there as well. As per latest data shared by BookMyShow, Chhaava has sold over 10 million tickets in 20 days of its release and the number is still increasing as the film is still running in theatres successfully.
